West Australia Water: optimising effluent quality
For Water Corporation Western Australia, Carbon Hills supported a major treatment plant upgrade to meet increasingly stringent effluent quality requirements. By integrating advanced biological treatment processes with real-time monitoring and optimisation, we enabled compliance with new discharge limits while reducing environmental impact and strengthening long-term operational sustainability. This project demonstrates our capability to deliver high-performance wastewater solutions in complex regulatory environments.
Urban utilities: unlocking energy from waste
Urban Utilities, serving the greater Brisbane region, engaged Carbon Hills to improve energy recovery and reduce emissions from wastewater operations. We designed and implemented an integrated biogas utilisation solution that converted waste-derived biogas into renewable energy, delivering meaningful emissions reductions and supporting progress toward Australia’s net-zero targets.
